A drawing file can have overlapping lines for many reasons:
1. Drafting errors leading to overlapping lines
2. A drawing exported from a 3D based application into Autocad
3. Drawings exchanged between consultants who will add their own lines
Whatever is the reason, we want to eliminate one of the lines & retain other, else it will be double printing & give wrong line thickness.
Command ÖVERKILL” is the tool to do this. If you din’t know this command, you would be using the tedious method of finding & deleting these overlapped lines.
Select the objects with overlapped lines, set the options to delete the duplicate objects & check the dwg.
